Wicked Good Productions

Based on the unceded lands of the Kaurna People, we’re a bunch of noise-makers who find joy in making, telling and sharing wicked good stories. With a background in theatre, audio and film, we want to tell stories about conspiracy theories, ghosts, climate change, dating, and who gets the last bit of rice.

  • 7 Minutes to Rice

    Directed by Manuel Ashman

Seven housemates prepare separate meals as they wait for the rice to cook. When they discover that there isn’t enough rice, a witch hunt for the culprit begins. For the crime of ruining their meal the punishment is DEATH!

    Premiering at Flickerfest 2025.

  • BUMBLING

    Performed by Isobel Marmion

It's 2025. The seas are rising, the bees are vanishing, and you're worried we'll be next. Welcome to the end of the world. Pop on your heels and come dance.

Supported by Arts South Australia and the Adelaide Festival Centre’s inSPACE Program.

We’ll have more of this soon… Drop us a line if you’d like to help out!

  • GRIEF LIGHTNING: A SATIRE IN 78 SLIDES

    with Paper Mouth Theatre

Grief Lightning looks into the ultimate ‘Grease’ theory: that Sandy drowns at the beginning of the film and the rest is her coma fantasy. After a sold-out premiere at the Adelaide Fringe, Grief Lightning journeyed on to Midsumma 2021, Assembly Fringe 2021, closed the RUMPUS 2021 Season, and picked up the NSW Touring Award at Melbourne Fringe 2022. After a season at Perth FRINGEWORLD and the 2023 Festival of Voices, it headed to Summerhall at the Edinburgh Fringe 2023.

  • YOU'RE ALL INVITED TO MY SON SAMUEL'S FOURTH BIRTHDAY PARTY

    with Paper Mouth Theatre

A party. A fourth birthday party. A truly wonderful and lovely fourth birthday party. The world isn’t ending. We have honey crackles and fairy bread and the world isn’t ending at all. Chosen as the Centre Stage Residency at The Mill in 2022, SAMUEL debuted at the Adelaide Fringe 2022 and was awarded the The Melbourne Fringe Tour Ready Award presented by Melbourne Fringe. It then crashed Melbourne Fringe 2022 and was awarded The Spirit of the Fringe Award.

What do we do?

From finding prosthetic thumbs to the perfect venue, we want to work with wicked people to tell some pretty good stories. We’re interested in exploring, creating, digging, inviting, and a whole bunch of other ‘ing’ words.

If you have a story to tell, we want to hear about it - just make it a wicked good one.

Theatre

There’s something about a captive audience and a live experience that gets us buzzing. We’ve produced award-winning shows from typing the first line to getting back the final feedback survey.

Drop us a line to stage your next show, develop your latest concept, or bring us in as a mentor.

Film

We’ve wanted to make films since we were little kids. Certified nerds with a love for digital we’re eager to flex these muscles a little bit more and spend more time with the silver screen.

From docos to shorts: we’re able to cast, find locations, or pitch your latest sci-fi short.

AUDIO

It’s safe to say that audio is our bread and butter. With years of broadcasting and podcasting, we know the power of audio storytelling is pretty wicked.

If you’ve got a story to tell, we want to make sure everyone hears about it.
